Safe and stable
Panama is one of the safest and most stable countries in Latin America — a comfortable, welcoming base for your treatment and recovery.
Dental implants, All-on-4 and smile design at honest USD prices — with no hidden costs. We build your veneers, crowns and dentures in our own lab, so you get better quality in less time. And we tell you the truth, even when it's a "no".
Patients from the US, Canada and the Caribbean come to Panama for high-quality care at a fraction of the cost back home — without the friction.
Where we are: Panamá Sonríe is in Panama City — the capital of the Republic of Panama, in Central America. It's a US-dollar country and one of the region's biggest airline hubs (Tocumen / PTY), so you're a short nonstop flight away — Miami ~3h. Searched "Panama City" and saw dentists in Florida? That's a different place — we're the country of Panama.
Panama is one of the safest and most stable countries in Latin America — a comfortable, welcoming base for your treatment and recovery.
Panama uses the US Dollar, so there's no currency exchange and no guesswork — the price you're quoted is the price you pay.
Home to the Panama Canal and Copa Airlines' hub: nonstop flights to Tocumen (PTY) from ~18 U.S. cities and from Toronto and Montreal — Miami in about 3 hours, New York or Toronto in about 5–6. You land 15–20 minutes from our flagship clinic.
Our flagship clinic is 15–20 minutes from Tocumen International Airport via the Corredor Sur highway. Land, settle in, and get started.
Few clinics in Panama have their own dental lab. We design and mill your work in-house with CAD/CAM — full quality control, shorter timelines.
Ivoclar IPS e.max porcelain, Shining 3D scanning, and premium implant systems such as MIS. First-world quality, honest pricing.
Our prices are a fair value because we work with world-class brands and qualified professionals — and craft your work in our own in-house lab. No cut corners, no watered-down materials.
Your treatment is coordinated and performed by a team with real training and experience.

This is what sets us apart. We compete on quality, not on being the cheapest. Your dental price is exact, in USD, and we tell you upfront what could change it — no surprises, no fine print, and a straight answer even when it's a "no".
On price, straight talk: real quality has a real cost. If something is far too cheap, be suspicious — it usually means corners were cut on materials, the lab, or clinical time. We keep a fair balance between quality and price: not the cheapest, not the most expensive. Fair prices for real quality.
Our promise: we give you the best possible information from the very first contact, but it's the clinical study that confirms your exact treatment and final dental price. For international patients we offer a complete $500 case study — a CT-scan review plus a 30-minute video call with your specialist, 100% credited to your treatment. No surprises: you'll know before you fly.
A well-made implant can last for decades. We work with premium implants, guided surgery and the best materials — with our own lab behind every restoration.
We work with premium implants from world-leading brands such as MIS Implants, with the latest technology and evidence-based protocols. First-world quality so your implant integrates well and lasts for years.
We never rush complex work. Some treatments simply can't be sped up — they need proper adaptation (correct bite, verified esthetics, a well-made temporary) before the final restoration. If another place promises speed on a complex case, be suspicious.
Lost many teeth or a full arch? We rebuild it fixed, in zirconia — crafted in our own lab.
In the U.S., a zirconia arch runs $25,000–$38,000. Same clinical standard and materials — for a fraction of the cost, with our own in-house lab.
Why is that price fair? We work with a provisional methodology: we place a temporary, make it excellent, dial in your bite, esthetics and function, and only then move to the definitive zirconia. It can include 2 to 3 sets of temporaries; when the final material goes in, only minor adjustments remain.
What can change the cost: bone grafting, sinus lift, the number of implants, materials and temporaries. We define it in your study.
Immediate loading (a same-day temporary) is only possible when the bone allows it. Both arches? A discount may apply depending on case complexity.

An implant isn't "place the tooth and you're done." It has to fuse with your bone — a process called osseointegration. The less load we put on it at the start, the better it integrates.
That's why it isn't always wise to promise a fixed tooth the very same day. Doing it right protects your long-term result.
Placing the temporary tooth the same day is possible in favorable cases. When it isn't safe, we prefer a removable temporary while the implant integrates. Forcing it puts the result at risk.
Anyone who promises immediate loading every time isn't telling you the whole truth — it depends on your conditions.
An implant needs roughly 2–3 mm of bone to be well anchored with a good esthetic profile. If there isn't enough, we rebuild the bone first. There are physiological limits we respect — we don't pretend they don't exist.
Roughly 4–6 months, and in some cases up to 1 year, planned across several visits — that's the correct pace because of osseointegration.
We ask that you come without rushing; these are treatments that need recovery time.
Success is around 95% at 10 years (per clinical studies). Even with perfect care, your body may not integrate one — that's biology.
That's why, when the bone allows it, we sometimes place an extra backup implant. One failing doesn't ruin the plan.
Some swelling after surgery is expected. We use a surgical guide plus full technology precisely so the surgery is as minimally traumatic as possible.
In All-on-X cases we plan with prior prosthetics (about 2 sets of temporaries) plus a surgical guide, adapting your bite along the way up to the surgeries. Nothing is improvised.
Smoking is the single biggest risk factor (failure up to ~15.8% vs ~1.4% in non-smokers). It's possible, but with higher risk depending on your control.
Diabetes: if well-controlled, implant survival is the same as in non-diabetics; only poorly controlled diabetes raises the risk.
Osteoporosis by itself is not a contraindication. However, certain medications (such as IV bisphosphonates, common in oncology treatments) can be.
We assess risk factors case by case, using your medical exam and a referral from your primary physician. This isn't a game — it's your health.
"We'd rather tell you no when something can't be done, than promise you the world and leave you with problems later." Transparency, guaranteed.
The less tooth structure we remove, the better your long-term prognosis. That's called a conservative preparation: we remove only the enamel that's strictly necessary.
Be wary of places that shave teeth down to stumps to work fast — that tooth structure is gone forever.
Around every tooth there's a band where the gum attaches to it — the biologic width (~2 mm). If the edge of a veneer or crown invades that space, the gum stays chronically inflamed, recedes, and bone can be lost.
A beautiful design that invades the biologic width is a failure in slow motion.
The border where the crown ends and your tooth begins — the finish line, or margin — must be crisp in the preparation and in the digital scan. If that border is imprecise, the lab simply cannot seat and seal the piece properly, no matter how pretty it looks on the outside.
Between the veneer or crown and your tooth there's a junction measured in microns (thousandths of a millimeter): the marginal seal. Esthetically everything can look perfect — but if that seal is poor, bacteria leak in: decay under the crown, and work that fails within a few years.
That's why we craft everything in our own in-house lab with CAD/CAM: we control that seal ourselves, start to finish.
A clear, no-pressure path — most of it before you ever board a plane.
Not a quick call — a complete study. Your specialist reads your CT scan and studies your case in depth before a 30-minute video consultation, walking you through contraindications, possible change or complication scenarios (full transparency) and a treatment plan aiming for ~99.9% precision. And you don't lose it — the $500 is fully credited to your treatment when you go ahead with it (it's applied to your treatment, not refunded).
An exact dental price in USD, a realistic timeline, and a straight answer on what's possible — including a "no" if that's the right call.
We help with concierge (insurance, transfers, lodging) at cost, and sync your stay with your treatment. Then you fly in and we get to work.
